Impact of Faculty Development Programmes on Teaching Effectiveness in Higher Education Institutions: A Study of Colleges in Nagpur City

Abstract
In order to improve teaching effectiveness and faculty skills in higher education, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) are crucial. The current study looks at how FDPs affect Nagpur City college faculty members' ability to teach effectively. Using a standardized questionnaire, 50 faculty members provided main data for the study. Data analysis is done using statistical methods like Pearson correlation and descriptive analysis. The results show a strong positive correlation between teaching performance and faculty development programs. Regular and well-planned FDPs enhance teaching abilities, creative methods, and overall academic success, according to the study's findings.
