Main Article Content
Abstract
Globalization has brought a massive change in automobile industry in the form of heightened competition across the borders, integration of technology and the requirement of regional marketing approach. This essay discusses the way that multinational automobile firms are modifying their marketing strategies in the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh, in this case the Indore-Pithampur industrial belt. The premise behind the study is that globalization does not result into total uniformity, but rather, firms have to strike a balance between the consistency of global brands and local market sensitivity. This analysis concentrates on three key environmental dimensions including cultural, economic, and regulatory dimensions and their impact on product, price, promotion, distribution and service strategies. The research is based on descriptive and analytical research design whereby both primary and secondary data are used to comprehend the regional dynamics of automobile marketing. The results reveal that companies of the Malwa region cannot rely solely on the global strategies that are similar. They need to respond to the local conditions of use and affordability of products, match prices using financing and value-based approaches, localize promotion messages, and reinforce dealer and service distribution. The research also suggests that change in regulation, industrial cost pressures and increasing electric vehicle usage are transforming the regional marketing decision-making. In general, the article finds that a selective adaptation is the key to gaining greater customer acceptance and long-term competitive advantage in the Malwa automobile market.
